Spain employs new export manager and successful promotion in Q1

Two business initiatives have resulted in an excellent start to 2008 for IBP Atcosa in Spain.
Tomas Fernandez Labandera has joined the Spanish operation as Export Manager, bringing with him tremendous experience of working in export markets around the world. Tomas will live in Córdoba and will focus on developing the company’s export potential with customers in Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Morocco, Algeria, Tunis, Libya, Egypt, South America and parts of Africa.
Spain also undertook a very successful promotion for the new >B< Flex multi-layer product launch during quarter one. Customers who bought a value of multi-layer products were offered a cruise for two people in the Mediterranean. As a result, ten customers will set sail on the 8-day cruise in May, following the end of the promotion in March.
